Heart to Heart with Ananfaye

2010 in numerology is a (3)three year which reminds us of the unity of all things and the trinity; Mother, Father, God,...Father, Son & Holy Spirit,...Body, Mind & Spirit, The Triple Goddess, Maiden, Mother, Crone, the Pyramid, etc. for me the "bottom line" of the 3 energy is allowing the spirit of the child to flow through us.  It is a time to play, to lighten up and allow our creativity and self expression to flow.  This year is about being happy, imaginative and fun loving.  It certainly is a good time to be reminded about letting the child out and with the intensity of energies on the planet we could use a nudge in that direction.  If you can't conjur up the child within hang out with a child for awhile or borrow a friend or relative's.  Their innocence and spontaneity will nip any "down" energy in the bud.

Something that helps to lift my energy is when I really think about the preciousness of life here on planet earth.  It is awesome!

As humans, we are pure consciousness and through the spectrum of the mental, physical and emotional bodies, we can experience our Spirit and share in the profound oneness with the universe.  We really do have great power, the power to choose to be anything we prefer, real or illusionary, unlike the rest of existence which can only be itself.  On that note may your choices for the coming year be filled with yeses.  Yes to the call of your own Spirit.  Yes to what is real and true.  Yes to life itself!

In 1993 I was asked to write a paper on  toning and it's benefits for a group of Health Care Providers, mostly Chiropractors. I had never done that before and was very nervous. After several hours and very few words were written (I was trying to be perfect) I asked my Spirit to please help me.  Immediately I began to sing the words shown below.  A short time later I got a call that the paper was no longer needed as they had cancelled the program it was being written for. This experience was a great lesson for me in many ways, but most important, I  learned  what a joyful Spirit I had and that it was reminding me to "lighten" up.  As I write this now I'm reminded of the number three (3) numerologically which is about, creativity, communication, writing

and more, but its really about letting the "spirit of the child" to flow through us.  Methinks that 'pure' child is our Spirit flowing like a river through us!

to that which is inside of you

As spiritual beings living in a human form we have such an opportunity to truly express from the highest octave.  In these challenging times its easy to forget that we CAN master the limitations that are certainly here, right now, whatever challenge we are facing, no matter how overwhelming.  I share from my own experience that when things appear to be very bleak in my life I just stop what I am doing...take a breathe..and go within.  I may not hear that still voice when I am in despair but I remind myself when I have heard it or just listen and feel my breathe...the breathe of life.  Breathe that reminds me of the creator, the holy spirit, God, Goddess etc. Life that is precious. The aliveness of life itself, which reminds me of my potential for expression...my soul's expression.  As I breathe a shift may take place just then and I feel the flow of my aliveness or perhaps I need to move my body through movement, swimming or just toning or singing. A great way to shift energy is to sing the word Figaro a few times in a loud operatic tone.  Its fun too. The point is to keep going to the highest octave and allow the river of life to flow through us!  It is only our belief that it cannot be done (along with the mass hallucination of the planet) that binds us, putting a lid on the fountain so ready to spout.  Indeed we are rivers. There is a compelling urge within each of us to live from that place of Truth.  Every living creature has that pull to let the river flow like never before, to be all that we can be!  That river (expression) is seen in the creativity that abounds in our world.  Mozart's beautiful music, Keats poetry, Michael Jackson's dance and song, the works of many whom we call masters.  Through their commitment, focus and many struggles they learned to let go and let the Divine flow through them.  They may not have been conscious of the process, but at some point they just let go. We see this expression of the soul in a child's laughter, the innocence and purity of their being in the moment.  Always in newness.

So dear ones may your river flow like never before, may you continue to be nourished by the abundance of the Universe as you live a soulful life, a life of honoring the Truth of who you are.  You may still have challenges but I promise you that the beauty that flows through you will override the challenges and set your free!

I'd like to share about Uranus, another of my favorite planets.  When I think of Uranus, the planetary ruler of Aquarius, I think of change, change and change.  Sudden change at that.  Uranus energy is like a quick shock, awakening us to some new perception or reality. This energy can liberate us from past limitation, freeing us to move in a new direction, perhaps getting us out of a rut, dismantling the illusion one has been living in. Uranian individuals (those with strong Uranus influence and/or Sun, Moon or Ascendent in Aquarius) often deviate from the norm.  They can be rebels, inventors, revolutionaries.  I've been watching American Idol this season and am reminded of one of the top contestants Adam Lambert. Born under the sign of Aquarius, he personifies that Uranian energy with his unusualness and his true genius as shown in his creative song delivery.  He stands out and keeps surprising us with his talent.

Uranus is about freedom and in the birth chart it indicates how and where we can be free in our life creating meaningful change and express our own uniqueness.

Currently Uranus is in the sign of Pices. Pices is a water sign representing the emotions and the soul.  Picean energy is about knowing that everything in life is innerconnected, that we are all one. Its about living the dream or a higher ideal, continually working towards the fruition of that. Pices rules photography, music, the arts.  With Uranus the awakener in Pices we are dismantling illusions that have kept us from living our dream, from truly tapping into our soul, the truth of who we are.  More and more people are awaking spiritually and many more asking who am I?  Why am I here?  It is exciting as we slowly shed our masks and allow our true nature to be revealed.  There is so much more to be said about the energy of this planet, I've only given you a little taste.  Enjoy it, savor it and let freedom reign within you!

Greetings and Happy New Year! I would like to start off the new year with sharing some astrology, which is one of my passions.  My idea is to each month or so share about the energies of a planet, sign or asteroid, etc. and how it may be influencing us at this time. (Please note that I do not believe we are at the mercy of astrology, we do have free will and there is a Source much greater)

From my perspective astrology, a language, an art and science, is a tool for opening the heart, assisting in the recovery of the lost and forgotten parts of our self.  It works because it is a form of tapping into a bigger connectedness than we normally relate to.  Like a giant treasure map it leads the way to the core of our blocked energy, our talent and expression.  We can then make wiser choices for our life.  The horoscope or birth chart is like a photograph of the solar system at the exact time of birth.  This celestial map, shaped as a circle, consists of 12 signs of the zodiac, planets and asteroids and 12 houses.  It literally tells our story in a wonderous way.  The planets and asteroids symbolize the type of energies to be expressed and aspects of the personality.  The signs show how these energies are expressed and the houses represent the area of life, for example, career or relationships.

I would like to start with PLUTO the planet of power and transformation, sometimes called the ruler of the four biggies: money, power, death and sex. Pluto in the birth chart indicates how and where one may undergo great change throughtout the life. Pluto is a light shining on those dark places within.  There is usually a death of the old, that which no longer serves us, then finally a rebirth , something new and more suited for us.  The process of transformation is not easy and we often want to control it, to stop it, to figure it all out, but it is organic and like the snake shedding it's skin we will be improved with this new skin.

In January of last year Pluto moved into the sign of Capricorn for a short time, then returned to Sagittarius where it had been for fifteen years, moving again into Capricorn November 26th where it will be for many years.  What does this mean? Well, as Pluto represents the principle of deep transformation and power and Capricorn rules all structures and systems we will see the light shining in all the nooks and crannies of political arena, economic, educational, corporate, etc. on the local, national and global level.  We certainly know about the economic shift over the past year.  Pluto's light is showing us what we haven't been able to see.  On a personal level, all areas of our life are affected, our basic foundation, the way we structure our life...not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  More and more of us is required to step up to the plate, to come into balance.  Like the snake shedding its skin we too are growing a new skin, methinks a new world while we are at it. We are being asked to be vulnerable to open our hearts and surrender, ask for help if you need it.  Is Pluto's light shining on your health, your relationship with someone you love or don't love, has your income been seriously reduced?  To fight the shift just means more suffering.  Remembering Pluto rules the capacity for self-transformation and self-renewal can remind us to be loyal to the light within that ignites our courage and faith and the joy that is our true nature!

Greetings! As this is my first blog I was wondering what to write when my inner guidance drew me to share my thoughts on the present energies on the planet which is the subject of a "Heart to Heart" group I am facilitating in Arizona and California. 

We are living in powerful times. Everyone is being challenged in one way or another.  It requires us to "step up to the plate" so we can make better choices for ourselves.  It is difficult if we are stressed, in fear about our security, our health, our loved ones, etc.  We need simple tools to assist us in raising our energy.  On a personal level I have found this to be true.  Especially in the last few years.  With the energetic shifts on the planet many are experiencing a shortage of time as we know it, sleep disturbances, waves of depression or hopelessness, irritablity, anger and impatience. Our sensitivity has increased so we pick up energy around us for good or for nil. Discordant energies, negative thoughts and feeling affect us more than we realize. The political frenzy now, the economic news of doom and gloom constantly on the air waves brings great fear to the masses. We pick up that fear on different levels and it touches those places inside where we have fear.

So what to do? (1)  Remember who you are! A magnificent being of light in a human body who has come to share in the upliftment of humanity. To bring Heaven on Earth! Remember your presence is enough! As that eternal flame within burns so brightly (even during those lapses when you forget who you are) you are a lighthouse, a beacon of light for those in the darkness of a "stormy sea." It's not about "healing the dark" its just being the light. (2) Many of you have found I'm sure that it is imperative to keep in balance, body, mind and spirit. Nourishing our bodies properly, with good food and exercise. Let go of all that no longer serves you and remember to nourish your psyche with a good dose of play. Let that child out and have some fun. I call it letting in the giggle! hee, hee.

(3)Remind your linear mind it is here to serve your heart, so feed it positive thoughts. Don't deny current reality, if things are a mess in your life, you just lost your job or your car has broken down and you're not sure how you will pay for it, thats the current reality, but as a multidimensional being you can see the bigger picture. Opportunities await you on many levels. Stay in the moment. Pay attention to the conversation in your head. Does it feed the vision for your life? Nourish your heart and soul with kindness, gratitude and ecstasy. Placing your hand on your heart take a few moments to focus within,  meditate or just reflect, feel the gratitude for all that is in your life, feel the wonder of who you really are. An immortal body of light in a human body! Take a breath and feel the light of who you are. Really feel it. If you don't feel the ecstasy you will eventually, for it is there deep within and is always available to you. Experiment, do this little exercise during the day if you are drawn, you will find a difference in your energy level. It is a powerful way to keep your energy up during these trying times. Just imagine washing the dishes, working on the computer, gardening, all the mundane things of our daily life as you invision the light within, the bliss of who you really are. It will surely put a smile on your face. People may just wonder. hee, hee
